I AM ALIVE

Good news all. I am alive.

After 2 full weeks of being sick, I am back on my feet and back on the saddle.

Now that I am not working I am focusing on training for a Breast Cancer 3-Day walk I am doing this summer in Boston.

On Sunday I did a 12 mile training walk and yesterday I started bootcamp.

Let me tell you something about bootcamp. This is a hard core, hard bodied, hour long sweat-a-than where the best that fitness has to offer tells you to push harder, faster, and don't stop til you get enough or until you have you sweat every ounce of water in your body out.

I have never sweat more in my life than I did yesterday. The first half hour of this bootcamp is spent on the treadmills running running and running- but for someone like me who just flat out doesn't run that just doesn't wore- so I did the best I could and ran as much as I could and walked as a fast pace.

The second half hour is spent on the floor, alternating legs and arms every other day. Yesterday was legs, and it's all working with steps and dumbbells.

Then you get into 10 minutes of abs. HOLY SHIT. BURN BABY BURN!

When it's all said and done my tubby little body is tired and sore, but ready for more.

I am going to go every other day with training walks on Sunday.

I have a long road of training ahead of me before this 60mile walk in July. I'll keep y'all posted on my progress.
